After reading Willie's post on Graphic Therapy, I took a look at there site. Although I agree that it's a bit slow to load and reminds me more of a beginner site, the print ads and CD covers are very eye-catching and abstract. Madonna's CD, for example, has a logotype that is blocky and focuses on shape - which is what I'm interested in for my project.
As for color, I think the use of black and white is bold and interesting - especially the black font on the right compared to the soft, pop colors in Madonna's pictures.
I also like Dentsu by Graphic Therapy. The logo is very interesting and the use of a line compartmentalizes the logo well. The font is simple and approachable and I love the grey and white colors because it provides a clean, professional, yet casual look. Less intense than Madonna's CD cover on the left.
